mumof4 Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 (edited) Ok...for once i have not been sat on the forum all day.In between ferrying kids to school and giving mates a lift i have washed the car, then put the above stuff on my car and polished it off..I must say that i am amazed by this product, my whole car looks so different!!!.The only scratches left are the deep ones..No scratches now by the door handles, bonnet, tailgate. The whole body is now looking as good as new...well...nearly!!. Just wanted to say that i find this stuff amazing and i am very impressed!!!.It has taken me a good few hours to do this.I would really recommend this product. Have yet to wax and polish the car....By the way..they are reflections of the clouds on the car.LOL Edited September 6, 2006 by neil_wiles Quote

delboyt Posted September 6, 2006 Report Posted September 6, 2006 i only use meguires on my galscratch -x as mum says is amazingthe polish/wax i use is gold class remember this guyspolish is not the same as waxpolish shines the carwax protects the polishgold class does the 2 jobs in 1i found you can use on the hot sunny day's aswell as the cooler day 7 it's don't bake onto the paintworkto polis/wax with goldclass it takes me about 50 mins to do the whole cars outside.the other stuff they sell is a carpet/upholsery cleaner & that's fantastic stuff aswelli got most of their product's now & will neveruse any other makes in the futurefor the best finish get a wax/polish that's got a lot of canuba wax content.i am a spray painter on bikes etc & has been doing it for 28 yrs so i dohave some sort of expertise on paint finishing crap at spelling lol www.meguiars.co.uk/click on the advice box then the car clinicfill it in & it will tell you what you need be honest when filling it innot the addy part but the rest you will see why Quote

mumof4 Posted September 7, 2006 Author Report Posted September 7, 2006 I got mine in a hloiday kit from motorsave which was 20 quid..came with loads of other stuff aswell.Car shampoo, cleaner wax, Quik detailer mist and wipe, and endurance high gloss for wheels. Dont know how much it is on its own..But i did the whole car and there is still loads of it left. Quote
twinkle Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 i have used maguiars for years now, its very very good stuff. i tip for you (if you haven`t already done it) go over the whole car with the quick clay. you will be amazed what that does. also if your after the deepest of shines out fo your car, theres better stuff then meguiars. you should try some of the clearcote products, and the best wax i think value for money is P21s concours wax. but as said above, remember that polish and wax are totaly different, plus you can also get a glaze which helps wonders as well.
